Caravans are NOT reccomended on the Barry Way due to narrow windong sections where passing is difficult/impossible Small and basic campsite is perched above the Snowy River. There is a steep bank but access to the river from the campsite.
No camping or entry fees in this section of Kosiuzsco National Park Campers at Brou Lake can enjoy beach and lake fishing, surfing and beach walking. Batemans Marine Park is adjacent to Brou Lake camping area, and there is a sanctuary zone where fishing is prohibited from immediately north of the entrance to Brou Lake to Jemisons Point. Parts of Brou Lake are also located within this sanctuary zone. Signs show those areas where fishing is not permitted. Fires are allowed but firewood is not supplied. Campers must bring their own drinking/washing water with them and remove all garbage from the site. The camping area is suitable for small caravans and campervans capable of travelling on unsealed roads.
Getting there: Follow the Princes Highway for approximately 10 kilometres north of Narooma until you reach the Brou Lake road. Brou Lake road is approximately 5 kilometres in length, is unsealed and takes you to the camping area on the southern side of Brou Lake.
