Emerald Cabin & Caravan Village - Emerald QLD

Pet Friendly

The Emerald Cabin & Caravan Village is adjacent to many of the main sporting facilities in Emerald. The park has good powered sites for caravans and the layout is very good. Cabin accommodation is also available. Traffic noise would be minimal as the park is in a quiet part of Emerald. The park has good amenities and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The resident manager is Ian Barnabas. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos. Recent photos on this page were kindly supplied by our roving reporter Sel Hardy in June 2013.

we arrived here at this very well planed and very clean and tidy park only to stay for two days but stayed for four nice and peaceful, the thing that caught us by surprise was the $50.00 deposit for the dog ,it would be nice if we were told this when we booked by phone, but we can understand why the park managers have brought this charge in, to make sure all caravaners do the right thing and KEEP their best mate (DOGS) on the lead at all times and pick up after them .WE did and do where ever we go, As there are parks that are starting to get quite sick of irresponsible people just letting there pooch run loose and can't be bothered to pick up there doggie ( you know what ) I have even picked up other dogs XZXZ, as i nearly stood in it so please my fellow travels do the right thing when the parks ask you to abide by the rules, other wise we may find that the dog friendly parks will become a thing of the past. oh yes the $50,00 deposit is given back to you when you drop off the loo key. thank you to the managers of this park for all your hard work in maintaining it to the high standard it is , thank you and we will return , Marie and knox Arps

Excellent park. Very clean and with well thought out drive through sites and amenities set up as mini ensuites. The park is practically on the golf course and has a fantastic aquatic centre with covered pools and excellent kids waterpark next door. There are 2 large shopping centres in town one of which is very new and the town is friendly tidy and easy to navigate. If you are going inland touring I highly recommend the park as a great place to stop relax do some washing and stock up on groceries.
