Forbes Rest Area - Forbes NSW
Forbes Rest Area is adjacent to Lions Park in Junction Street Forbes. Camping is not permitted in Lions Park but there is lots of room in the rest area which is adjacent to the Lachlan River. The area is ideal for vehicles of all shapes and sizes and is shady and well maintained. Some taps are available for connection to water. BBQ, picnic and amenities are available in the adjacent Lions Park. This area is very popular for free camping so you will not lack company if you park here. If you decide to stay overnight then it is entirely at your own risk.

Great stop over while on the road. Camp by the small lake with the water birds.
Lightly treed, and clean with bins.
Walking distance to Main Street, RSL etc....
Make it a point of call while in Forbes.
