The Gundagai Tourist Park is located in Nangus Road, Gundagai. The park has 80 tourist sites and 40 of these are ensuites with overhead roofing which is quite unusual and would provide some protection from cold, heat and hail. Some traffic noise is unavoidable due to the proximity of the Hume Freeway and a particular exit where trucks love to use their engine brakes. The park is within easy walking distance of the main Gundagai township. The resident owners are Ron and Margaret Magnone who will give you a friendly welcome. The park is pet friendly and a member of the Top Tourist Parks Network. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos. Photos on this page were taken on the 3rd October, 2009.

Couldn't agree more with previous comment. Would suggest that traffic noise is not a problem here. There is some distant truck noise at times but nothing to stop you from staying here.

We did not stay in this park but had a look to do a review. Every site is a drive through ensuite site. Your caravan or motor home will be under a car port. The sites are all concreted and the roads are all sealed. Very neat and tidy park. There is no pool, games room or camp kitchen. there are several cabins to hire. Close to town which has a Woolworths and a good collection of local shops.
Gundagai is not just about doggy on the tucker box. There is a fantastic museum at just $3 for adults it is crammed full of old things, there is an old railway station to see, a gaol, historic bridges, 2 lookouts, bushrangers captain Moonlights grave and history about the 1954 floods. The place is full of history it well worth staying at least a couple of days or more if you want to explore the surrounding areas as well.

We had a fantastic weekend at this park. Cabins were immaculately clean and very reasonably priced . Close to all amenities, staff super friendly very welcoming. Good knowledge of local area and happy to share info.
If your looking for a good meal try cafe Sheridan for great bacon and eggs.

stayed here mid january 2012 . Great spot huge grassy sites no dirt and very friendly owners which was a refreshing change compared to some other parks. It makes a difference when you are dealing with owners and not managers.
