The Wimmera Lakes Caravan Resort is located at 9161 Western Highway, Horsham. The park has one of the highest welcome signs I have seen. Turning into the park requires considerable care as you are crossing a busy highway. The park has 38 powered sites for tourists and 25 cabins for rent. This park has an outstanding recreation building for guests. The proximity of the busy Western Highway means that traffic noise is unavoidable. The resident owners are Chris and Kirston Johnson. Lots of stuff for the kids, pity it's not as green as the photos. It was a dust bowl for the 7 nights that we stayed on a powered site. Amenities are neat and clean. Camp kitchen large and good facilities.
