This was my second visit to Man River caravan park and I loved every second of it. To make it even more special my husband Chris spent most of his child hood holidays here with his family. Our resent trip there in October with a group of friends and family was by far one of best times camping ever. Was worth the 6 hour drive.. The place is just beautiful, the kids had a ball down in the river exploring the rock pools etc. And the swimming pool was a treat for the kids when us adults where ready for happy hour. Lee and Big Boof were very friendly and always happy to have a chat or in Boofs case see what's on the bbque. We are already planning our next visit very soon.

An update on our previous posting........although we didn't use it, the camp kitchen is pretty rugged and not particularly clean, although others were using it. The toilets were quite OK although not cleaned during the 3 nights we were there, and neither were the bins emptied, but there were only 4 or 5 vans in the park. This is a no-frills caravan park at a more than reasonable rate run by a very friendly bloke, and which provides an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding countryside-we really enjoyed our couple of days in this region

We were made to feel most welcome by the lady in reception and then later by Lee, who has owned the park for a year. At the moment a powered site is $23 for the first night with the second night free!!! Best value in Australia. The facilities are adequate and clean and the powered sites are all in shade. There is a lot to do in this really picturesque region....walking trails, drives, canoeing etc

We planned to stay overnight and yesterday booked our 4th week here. The new owner Lee and his off-siders are great friendly people who can't do enough for you. Lee's resident dog 'Boof' is a friendly early morning caller, drops in for a pat and treat then moves on to the next camp site. The park is always kept neat, tidy and very clean. Beautiful drives/walks in the area. We have met some lovely campers who have become friends. We WILL be back to stay again and thoroughly recommend Mann River Caravan Park, Jackadgery, to everyone. Thanks Lee (and Boof), much appreciated

Over Long Weekend in Easter we camped at the Mann River Caravan Park and had a fantastic time. The people running the park were great and tried to accomodate everyone body and they did a fantastic job. We will be going back again to camp.

Arrived at this park, alas couldn't raise anyone by phone or bell on front door. We parked to the side with full intention of paying in the morning however the rude and arrogant man from park came and reminded us that it was a caravan park. We replied that we had tried to contact them and we will never go there again plus the fact that the petrol

It would have been nice to go there, but dont try and book a cabin. Their laid back country attitude and silly woman on the phone means your booking is not made and you are left without anywhere to stay one week out from Easter . It probably is a nice place , but just as well I rang to confirm otherwise with 2 babies in a car after a 6 hr journey from brisbane we would be homeless.
