We stayed at boab caravan park for about 3 weeks while backpacking through Australia and were lucky enough to work there (myself in the reception with Helen and my boyfriend helping Les with maintenance type duties) Les and Helen were both fantastic hosts and not to mention the staff in reception/the shop were equally as great. They all made us feel welcome and at home for the 3 weeks and were quick to help us whenever we needed it with whatever it may be. The park is absolutely beautiful with all of the grass and new facilities and the mini-mart containing all the essentials. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and work. We were sad to leave and will sure to be showing our face again sometime soon! Keep up the good work guys! :)

    MMM of Darwin.
Our family has stayed at the Boab on two occasions now and found the owners Les and Helen very friendly and helpfull the park was neat and the lawns were green. The cabins were clean neat and well presented .We would recommend the park for one and all .

I was at the Boab Park on the night that T has commented on. It is such a shame, that on these type of web-sights people only tell THEIR story. Sometimes the full story is not told.
    This park is excellent

This park is very ordinary. The sites are clean and well kept, but the owners just shouldn't be in the hospitality business. Double booked other campers and seemed outwardly hostile to a school group, and mostly at their indigenous staff. The small statured owner Les was quick to anger and used some pretty foul language at the customers.
My wife and I won't be coming back here.
Knotts Crossing on the other side of town is far superior in terms of rooms, camp sites, and staff.

Great park, lots of green grass. Upgraded facilities. Concrete slabs and driveways. New owners with lots of enthusiasm. You can organise a feed with the Reception. Good value.

The park is very neat and clean but beware that they only take small dogs and if you use your washing machine it costs an extra $5.50 per booking

This park is now kown as the Boab Caravan Park. It would have to be one of the best parks i have been to in the N.T. It is also the best value in Katherine at $34 for 2 adults powered peak season. The management are friendly
