Lake View Caravan Park - Lake Cargelligo NSW

Pet Friendly

Lake Cargelligo has a population of 1,200 people and is situated 576km west of Sydney. It is virtually in the middle of NSW. The Lake View Caravan Park has 46 tourist sites and 23 of these are powered. The Park Manager is Bridget Simmonds and provides excellent customer service. New powered sites were being installed in the park during my visit. Try to avoid parking your van against the back fence of the park as the dogs over the fence bark quite frequently. The Caravan has a total of 8 cabins to hire and still has the cleanest amenities and supplies friendly customer service and great tourist information. The town of Lake Cargelligo is very friendly and locals take pride in their community. The park is pet friendly. Bookings can be made by contacting the park on 0427 981 077 and please tell them that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos. A very tourist friendly park.New managers a few weeks ago are doing a splendid job.The cleanest amenities encountered in three months of travelling. A lot of overpriced parks in Qld could learn how to keep a park clean attractive and tourist friendly from this young couple! Barbara Hopkins, Mulwala NSW.

Thankyou to other reviewers, we camped away from the back fence and nearer to the Amenities block which was great. They are absolutely the most impressive, clean and tidy shower/toilet blocks we have ever come across in all our travels around Australia. Other parks should look and learn from these owners. We had trouble connecting our campervan to the power outlet and the young girl (caretaking for the day) was so helpful that within no time there were 4 people checking everything out only to find it was our power cord and the young 'caretaker' phoned the local hardware to make sure they remained opened until we got there to purchase another cord. Plenty of room for everyone, lots and lots of green grass to camp on and just across the road from the Lake. Highly Recommend!

Park was amazing pay 3 nights 4th is free
Amenities were very clean, until the water ski crowd showed up for the long weekend, amenities were trashed within 1 hour of there arrival, kids out of control.
Park manager was very friendly,no designated sites parking rather haphazard, also manager went missing when crowd turned up.
