We have traveled through Laura several times heading both North and South,but until just recently,had no reason to stay at the Laura caravan park,attractive as it looked.How wrong were we?This time we made it our business to,with a 2 night stopover between Quorn and Woodside in the Adelaide Hills,and what an absolute pleasure our stay was.To be greeted with a welcome plate of scones complete with jam and cream by the friendly and helpful host/s was an absolute travelers delight,the meticulously clean amenities,the layout of the park with level sites either on grass with a slab,or gravel,with easy access to the amenities for all ,together with a well equipped camp kitchen and fire pit ready to go,and being within an easy walk to the local shops or hotel,who could wish for more?The well maintained gardens and nature walk within the property shows us travelers just how proud the hosts are of presenting such a beautiful park for all to enjoy.So too,for those caravanners unsure of positioning their vans,guidance was never far away.And,something that I have never had happen in all of our years caravanning,a handshake upon 'hookup' when departing,thanking us for choosing to make it our business to stay with them.An absolute credit to all involved,well done!
