Stayed at this park April 2013. No issues like other contributor. Not a blade of grass anywhere and would assume roads would be muddy in the wet. Other than that, a typical outback caravan park. Amenities spotless, BBQ works. Had a bush poet a couple of evenings when we were there. Okay if you're into that type of thing.

We stayed at this park in a cabin back in June 2009. The cabins were old but clean and tidy and everything worked and everything was supplied for all your needs. The park is close to the Qantas Museum and Stockmans Hall of fame so you can leave your car and walk to both. The Qantas museum is well worth a visit even if you are not fully into aircraft like we are. You get a close up look at the 747 200, learn lots of facts about the ol' girl and get to look all through the aircraft. For an extra charge you get a real in depth tour of places no one sees in an airliner and you get to walk on the wing. There is also the 707 that was rescued from Southampton in the UK and fully restored and flown back to Australia and now resides at Longreach. She was the first jet aircraft to enter service with Qantas. The museum has other exibibits, like DC3, and replicas of other old Qantas aircraft. We spent nearly all day reading everything and we had a great time there. the next day we went to the Stockamns Hall of fame and there you get to see how life was in the old days and how hard it was back then to farm the land and to establish a community that could support itself. The men and women were a tough breed back then.

Since had a phone call from park owner . He said they have only had park 4 months and will be fixing any issues. He also said he sent someone over to test gas top and it is working perfectly and has nothing done to it since June 2nd. Must have healed itself!! Well it certainly wasn't when we were there and there were plenty of witnesses.

Recently got home from 7500klm trip. Only park I have issues with is Top Tourist Longreach. Not only did driers not work, camp kitchen gas top faulty and dangerous, boggy campsites coffee machine didn't work when I emailed six weeks later they argued the toss. Instead of taking feedback on board Cathy denied any problems and kept saying no one else had complained. Ignore feedback at your peril I say.
