sylvan caravan park is a nice caravan park. manangement is very helpful at all times. would recommend this park. probably not suitable for families with young children since its off hume highway. other than that people are nice here.

No i do not like Sylvan Caravan Park, we get mildew and mould, i clean everyday, still the floor is wet and dewy and mould keeps coming, it stinks! when we moved in right away i noticed old food bag ripped open with the food crumbs all in the cabinet and the refrigerator was very small and old, the light don't work, it has a short in it so it's dark inside, our closet doors are bad when we moved in, plus the windows are wet and leaks from the inside, you can not even look out, you have too keep wiping them, the screens are torn, never been fixed, , i go in the womens bathroom it is always dirty on the floor especially in the shower stalls, i don't know how old this place is, i'm guessing 60 years, they should put a effort in fixing things up, i notice the BBQ Grill area has never been fixed for people to use it, the place just looks so old and shabby looking, not nice at all, the Sylvan Caravan Park looks run down, people pay $254.00 a week or more, i was in the USA, Value Place where my husband and i lived was perfect, clean and nice too look at plus quiet, that place comes with your own bathroom, with a big shower, cable and internet included, also heating and cooling for just $168.00 a week, we both wish we had the money too go back and live there, The Manager here should do something about making Sylvan Caravan Park look nice and fix things up for the people who live here, all they want is money, don't give a hoot about anyone living here, i see people with their own caravans staying here a few nights, sure too them it might be ok, but i'm talking about the ones who are poor, that can't get out to live somewhere else, FIX SYLVAN CARAVAN PARK UP THE CABINS ARE OLD AND WORN OUT LOOKING!!!! bad enough we have the traffic and planes non stop!

My family and i have lived at the this caravan park and I will say the owners and managment looked after us very well, the toilets and park area are very clean. the management always made sure no noise after hours. As for the planes over head and traffic noise,, It is Melbourne after all. I will be returning back to this park for sure one day. This Park is our home away from home. Glad to see it is still there. i really do not like this park at all, 1. it is too loud, right on Hume highway, trucks go by nonstop i can't even sleep, 2. alot of low airplanes pass right over this park very low, plus it is very old looking in the cabin, also refrigerator is old, no countertop space, just very small, the womens bathroom only has three toilets and three showers, 1 toilet has been out of order plus a shower out of order, and another shower the light does not work, plus we have no tv hook up, or computer, very boring and loud,if you like it peaceful do not live here, the traffic on hume highway is very noisey all the time, like i said it is old and noisey here. i want to move if we get the money too, i can not stand it here at Sylvan Caravan Park
