Murrumbateman Recreation Grounds - Murrumbateman NSW

Murrumbateman Recreation Grounds are located on the Barton Highway at Murrumbateman. is 286km south west of Sydney NSW. The trip generally takes2  hours and 58 minutes but it could be longer depending on traffic and the size of your RV or campervan. Recreational use of the facilities is permitted but all bookings must be made through the Yass Valley Council. The grounds are spacious with good shade. Some traffic noise is unavoidable in this place due to the proximity of the Barton Highway which can be quite busy early mornings and late afternoons. Some nice restaurants and wineries can be found in the area. Photos on this page were taken in April 2016.
