Pandanus Caravan Park - Port Douglas QLD

Pandanus Caravan Park is on the main road leading to Port Douglas town centre. The park is a bit all over the place in terms of layout but it seems to work OK. The park has a nice pool and amenities are good. Some traffic noise is unavoidable because of the location. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos.

We have just arrived today and we were worried about what we would get when we arrived at this park .So far we were greeted in a friendly manner and after setting up we had a tour of the facilities we have no complaints we booked only for 10 nights and have extended to 14 we were lucky to get the extra nights as the park is fully booked out for the end of June .the people we have already spoken to speak highly of this park.
We will post another report at the end of our stay.
    Phone for park is (07)40995566
We gave this number out because when we tried to call we could not get them.

Hi, we have been managing the park since the 19th of May 2013 and have addressed most of the issues mentioned, we are friendly, professional people and will do our utmost to ensure visitors enjoy their stay. By the way we never ask for payment in advance and the feedback we have received from our customers since we have been here has been very positive and we will continue to maintain the high standards that we have set today. With regards to the comment about the pool beeing to cold i will need to go away and work on that one.

New management is taking over this Park and we will be looking at all remarks aiming to restore the Park to a welcoming destination. Thankyou to all who have taken the time to let us know how we have to lift our game. No doubt this will take some time as we address each issue seriously and take the appropriate steps required.

Please do not stop here. No TV reception. Pool is freezing. No kids facilities. And staff dont care.

Park was ok but it was peak season and only 2 out of the 4 washing machines worked. So trying to get your washing done was a line up! Also there were free campers parked on the street outside and the scum bags were using the showers and toilets! I think the owners should have done something to stop that.

Please do not hold back. These people will tell you, that you must book and pay in advance. And then become inflexible. A very poor park anyway. Staff are super rude.

Staff are rude. Dont get tricked into paying in advance. It is never full.
