Church Street Smithtown - Smithtown NSW

Church Street Smithtown has an excellent stay and rest location directly opposite the Smithtown Memorial RSL Bowling Club.  On the day I took these photos I spoke to a campervan owner who stays there regularly.  The parking area is directly beside the magnificent Macleay River. Smithtown is a quiet village and well worth exploring.  The Nestle Factory is very popular. Meals at the Bowling Club are excellent. If you stay overnight make sure you vacate this area early on school days.  Feel free to sleep in at weekends. If you decide to stay here overnight then you do so at your own risk. Photos on this page were taken on the 12th May 2015. Note the town is called Smithtown, all one word, not Smith Town.
