Scenic drives provide access to picnic areas at Six Mile Creek, White Rock River, Wolumla Peak, Myrtle Mountain, Goodenia Rainforest, Big Jack and Myanba Creek. At Myanba Gorge, viewing platforms look out across theTowamba Valley. Viewing platforms at Pipers Lookout on Brown Mountain offer dazzling views across the Bega Valley. Car-based camping (not for caravans) is available at Six Mile Creek, Postmans Track, Nunnock Swamp and Waratah Creek.

Six Mile Creek is 12 km west of Candeloonthe
Tantawangalo Mountain Road (unsealed). Access to Myanba Gorge is via Coolangubra Forest Way and Kanoonah Road (both unsealed) or along the Bucky Springs Road south-east from Bombala. Pipers Lookout is 60 km west of Bega along the Snowy Mountains Highway. Camp or picnic near a wide sandy bend of the Tantawangalo Creek. Campsites with fireplaces are provided. The campsite is on the track that was used by the postman delivering mail between the tablelands to Kameruka during the 1800s.

The campsite is on Tantawangalo Mountain Road, west of Six Mile Creek, on the bend of Tantawangalo Creek.
You will need to walk a short distance from your car to the campsite - no caravans or camper trailers
