I have stayed at this park several times during May/June, but not recently. MBCP is right in the heart of Mooloolaba. The Surf Club is spitting distance from the Park, as is the beach. The Mooloolaba Wharf is across the road.
Local shops and dining are a minute's walk. Access is through the main entrance or numbered security locks beachside/boardwalk. It is a friendly park, with a family atmosphere. Although the Park is a tad dated in places, this adds a 'homely' feel, and the Manager and his staff work hard to keep the Park and its amenities clean and tidy and are a friendly, approachable bunch, like most of the residents. As a UK overseas visitior, I pick up my campervan in Brizzey and head to the MBCP to spend a week or so, chilling out.
