Barkly Homestead Caravan Park - Tablelands NT
Barkly Homestead Caravan Park is a welcome stop-off point for travellers on the long stretches of the Barkly Highway between Camooweal on the Queensland border, and the Stuart Highway, a distance of over 440 kilometres! There are 50 powered and 100 unpowered sites available for caravans, campers and motorhomes. A good selection of cottages and cabins is available for rent to suit all budgets and needs. Motel style accommodation is also available. The park has a good pool and the Roadhouse is open from 6.30am to midnight 365 days of the year. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell the park that you found them on Caravan Park Photos.

Somewhat of an oasis in the middle of nowhere. Well equipped roadhouse with everything from wheel bearing kits to chips and burgers to sit down dining meals and to top it off there is a bar for the thirsty. A nice swimming pool awaits as does plenty of grass which is quite a surprise. The caravan park has drive through shady sites and there are 50 of them, they were nearly all taken the day we arrived, but most left the following day. We joined the procession heading towards Three Ways.
