Millicent is a town of 4,700 people situated 14km from the Southern Ocean and 412km south-east from Adelaide. The town has a number of major tourist attractions including the Canunda National Park and Australia's largest wind farm at Lake Bonney. The Lake Canundra National Park provides excellent coastal walks and scenery. Make sure you visit the Millicent National Trust Museum which is very highly rated as a rural museum. The museum has many historic relics of the area including farm machinery and aboriginal artefacts. The original Millicent Primary School is featured as an example of the "living Museum" theme.
