Range Caravan Park - Townsville QLD

Pet Friendly

The Range Caravan Park is situated on Hervey's Range Road, Thuringowa Central which is about 10km from the Townsville Post Office. The park has 40 tourist sites many of them placed on a large grassy area. The park is on a very busy road and the noise is rentless, although it does abate somewhat at night. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park and please tell them that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos.

I stayed at Range Caravan Park and found it to be very nice. It was quite green and lovely with lots of new things happening, the people were extremely friendly and helpful and I didn't find the road noisy at all. Sophia La, Scotland UK.

We spent 10 nights at the range caravan park and were extremely impressed with the park in general.
Dawn was very friendly and made us feel at home, as we have a small dog that travels with us we are mindful of choosing pet friendly parks that also have clean amenities and are reasonably priced, this park ticked all the right boxes.
I would highly recommend this park and would not hesitate to stay again. I give it 10 stars.

Stayed for 2 nights but had to leave because of the noise of trucks going past during the night. Too close to a busy road.

Ladies toilet floor is really slippy.

Maybe the sites up the back are quieter, but not worth the money.

We have stayed at the Range Caravan Park every year for the past 10 yrs and have always found it to be pleasant and appealing. The staff are always helpful and make us feel at home. The park is a quiet friendly place to stop and refresh, while being close to shops, cinema, pubs and clubs. Beth and Ross Baker, Blackwater Q

Recently stayed in April with our caravan for several nights. The park was pleasant with good amenities. Management were very friendly and helpful--nothing was too much trouble. There were shopping plazas a few minutes away by car and the city centre was on a straight road leading directly into the centre taking approx 15- 20 minutes.
