Blowering Holiday Park - Tumut NSW

The Blowering Holiday Park is located at 511 Snowy Mountains Highway Tumut. The park has 46 tourist sites and all but 20 of these are powered. The park is pet friendly. Resident Managers are Frank and Kaye. The park is right on the Snowy Mountains Highway so traffic noise is unavoidable. I would recommend the Blowering Holiday Park to any travellers as a beautiful comfortable place to stay and rest. This is a great holiday park in a great central location. It is a short drive from Tumut and walk to the Tumut river nearby. The park was quiet and Mary and Ron are very helpful owners who definitely go the extra mile. We stayed in Jan 2017. Our site was nice and shady but boarded the highway so noisy. We arrived mid afternoon and the bins were overflowing from what I expect was new years eve and not emptied until later that day. The camp kitchen had been left untidy from the previous night with food and dishes, these were still there the next morning when we left. The bathroom was extremely old and needed a good clean it was possibly the original from when the park was built by is condition, we stay in older style parks all the time as they are usually cheaper and less busy but one night was enough for us. On the upside the pool was lovely and the kids enjoyed a swim.

Had a couple of days stay at the park.All the amenities were clean and a nice play area for the kids could throw a line in down in the river and the kitchen facilities were great definitely will come back

The lovely couple who run the park are very friendly and helpful. The park was always clean and quite. I will be going back there again. I recommend the park to everyone. And it is pet friendly. Which is great.
