I lived there for 14 years under 2 managements. At first it was a good place then as people left, they were replaced by people who were not so nice. Some of these were alcoholics and drug users. The police would go there on average twice a week. The place was high risk for burglaries, flooding and a high fire risk. In both cases the managers were nice but they were nice to everyone. The amenities were always clean and when the shower curtains were replaced they were always slashed to shreds within days of being hung. The place had a very bad reputation with the locals at Urunga

My uncle used to own this caravan park in the 70s. I loved going here and have such fond memories. it is sad that it has had to close and the neglect that appears to have been allowed. A great era has passed.
