Wonthaggi is a town of 6,000 people located 132km from Melbourne. The town has a long history of coal mining which has now been replaced by beef and dairy industries. The Coalfields Caravan & Residential Park
has 35 tourist sites of which 10 are unpowered. Powered sites are generally of poor quality and interspersed with weekenders and permanents. Amenities are adequate. The park has a very impressive indoor swimming pool. Six cabins are available for rent. Bookings can be made by telephoning the park
and please tell them that you have seen their photos on Caravan Park Photos. Photos on this page were taken on 9th July, 2008.
