Stayed in this park last weekend. Staff are just wonderful. Stayed in a powered site next to the river near the pool and amenities block. Amenities are old but in good condition and very clean and everything works. Showers are a good size. Pool is simple but clean. Plenty of washing machines. Small camp kitchen. There are toilets at one end of the park plus more showers and toilets at the other end. Cabins are not posh but are in good condition and quite roomy. On the Saturday night because the park is next to the town, there were a few noisy party goers that could be heard but was no real problem. Did you know this park sits on reclaimed land? Yep boats used to sit where you now park your vans, the walkway that runs along the front of the park was a break wall with rail way track on it! From the park you can access a lovely beach and the break wall. You can also fish from the wharf and catch the ferry to Iluka. Short drive to Coles and Fish coop which sells great fish and chips and fresh seafood. Yamba is a beautiful town and we had a great time staying at this park.

The park is quite popular and is very busy in holiday times. It is right next to the town so walking to the shops is easy. It backs onto the river where you can catch the ferry to Iluka. The park has narrow roads mostly sealed but there is room to back your caravan because most sites are quite roomy, however there is part of the park (powered sites) which has unpowered sites in front of them on the river side that allow bigger rigs quite easily. There are toilets only at this end of the park and the main amenities block sits in the middle of the park. This is also the only place of a laundry. It also has a basic pool attached. The other end of the park has more powered sites and at the very end has unpowered sites for tents. There are toilets and separate shared ensuites that are quite new at this end of the park. The park is not secure because there is a concrete walking track running along the river in front which has no fence and this is where the river front cabins are, these cabins always seem to be booked out.Tthere is a high fence at the front of the park but no boom gates at entrance. There are several good BBQ huts throughout the park but these can be busy at times. There is no camp kitchen or games room. Very basic playground. Small but modern cabins along river front and some others as you enter the park. There is also older style motel type units which are in 2 stories.
