The park seems to have different owners but the park is still lovely and peaceful. We noticed that when the other parks are busy and everyone is crammed in, Yamba waters is quiet and spacious. There is s small river at the edge of the park to fish in if you like and big ensuite sites and also drive through powered sites and powered sites right across from the emanaties block of which there are 2 in the park. There is also a pool and games room and BBQs. There is caravan storage at the rear of the park so we left our caravan there and returned to enjoy another weekend at beautiful Yamba. Saved us a bit of time traveling home and petrol without the van. The owners were more than happy for us to leave the van there for a very small fee. At the end of the road from the caravan park there is an excellent fish and chip shop which we go to every time we go to Yamba. Not far away is Angourie, where you will find a fresh water swimming hole. Very popular spot. The kids will love it. There also a ferry you can take across to Iluka so you can make a day trip doing that and explore some of the national park over there. Had to give this park another review because its such a nice park and Yamba is such a great holiday spot.

Yamba is a very pretty town and Yamba Waters is a great park to stay in. It is quiet and roomy and not far from the town centre. The prices are very reasonable compared to other parks. The owners were very helpfull when we had a problem with our caravan. At Yamba you can walk along the beach, go fishing off the break water, admire the views from the lighthouse on the hill. The beach itself has big rock pools exellent for kids (and adults!) to look for sea creatures or to just put your feet into.Yamba is so close to other lovely locations that you can visit like the national park at Iluka. There is not much traffic around so getting around is easy. There is enough shopping to keep you with supplies and some nice places to eat if you dont want to cook. Yamba is definately a favourite place of ours.
