Yass is a town of 5,500 people situated 279km south of Sydney. The town has a relaxed easy-going atmosphere and many tourist attactions including wineries, galleries and many heritage buildings. The area is famous for merino sheep and wool products. The Yass Hamilton Museum has an excellent photographic display featuring the history of the area. The
Yass Caravan Park is situated on the southern side of the town in a quiet street. The park is run by the Council and is very well maintained. Facilities are good and some of the powered sites have good views of the local sports oval. The park has 60 tourist sites of which 40 are powered. The resident manager is Bronte Bowman.
