Coochin Creek Campground - Beerburrum State Forest QLD

Close to river. My kids call it 'Mozzie Heaven'. Only about 15 minute drive from Australia Zoo.
$19.40/night for a family. Must pre-book online Camping permit required. Located 9klm east of Beerwah and 4km east of the Bruce Highway on Roys Road. Roys Road is sign posted off the highway. Boat ramp located nearby. Gas stove only. Campground features: Flat, grassy area beside Coochin Creek, ideal for visitors who enjoy fishing and boating.
Location: On Roys Road, about 3km upstream from the Pumicetone passage.
Access: The campground can be reached by conventional vehicle.
Number of sites: 23 numbered sites.
Campsites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car; walk-in camping; caravans; camper trailers and motorhomes. Campsites are small and are not suitable for groups larger than 6 people.
Campsite surface: Sand, dirt, grass, concrete.
Facilities: Picnic tables, gas barbecues, water and wheelchair-accessible composting toilets.
Fires: Preferably bring a fuel stove. For wood fires use the fireplaces provided - open fires are not permitted. Bring your own clean milled firewood. It is illegal to collect wood from the park.
Generators: Not permitted.
