The Shoalhaven had their wine festival recently and once again The Treehaven was fully booked for the event. A local bus company put on 8 buses to ferry the people around all the wineries to “taste” what was on offer.
Wineries from Kangaroo Valley, Berry and Shoalhaven Heads all seem to do very well with lots of comments on just how well the local wineries did, putting on bands to entertain the crowds that were pouring (no pun intended) through. The organisers were saying that crowds were up 50% on last year and with the comments that were made to us here at The Treehaven they will be up again next year.
The Treehaven will be putting links on their website to a couple of the wineries, namely Mountain Ridge and Two Figs at Shoalhaven Heads via Berry as they certainly did entertain the visitors well and showed the people just how hospitable the Shoalhaven is.
