Lane Cove River Tourist Park Invests in Sustainable Development

Lane Cove River Tourist Park in Sydney NSW has just finished putting up its 10 kilowatt hour solar station on the park.

The solar station will generate enough electricity to run 5 of their family cabins. Park manager Andrew Daff said that with the new feed in tariff recently announced by the NSW Government, the solar station will be a revenue producing asset on the park as well as helping to keep the park carbon neutral.

The more people stay at Lane Cove, the more money that can be put back into sustainable development and new solar additions – with solar power now being purchased back by the electric companies, assets like this at Lane Cove that create extra income mean the park can keep its fees down.
