Our roving reporter Keith Truscott of Townsville in Queensland writes about Rollingstone Beach Caravan Resort which is located just north of Townsville:
“Friendly staff which are very helpful. The perfect quiet getaway with beachfront sites. If you want beach walks and waves rolling on to the beach this is the place. Wake up to the sounds of the ocean. Plenty of room, the pool and amenities are very nice and look new. I will be goin back real soon.”

Nice park but we were there on a long weekend and the park was fully booked out, so the only site we could get was on the peninsula along a lagoon. It was a very very long walk to the ammenities block from there.
Unfortunately if you go to this park take some remedy for the midges as we got bitten alive and itched for weeks afterwards.
It is great resort. I love to go these beaches. Thanks
