Annette Sims reviews Bedrock Village Caravan Park – Mt Surprise Queensland.

Our roving reporter Annette Sims writes about the extraordinary friendliness of Bedrock Village Caravan Park in Northern Queensland:

“Jo & Joe (owners) have created a unique park with large, shaded sites (you are shown to your site), immaculate, well planned amenities and a large camp kitchen.

Meals are available every night with Saturday being pizza night. They built the pizza oven themselves.

A brand new well stocked shop is on site, light meals are available and a wide range of yummy ice creams are on sale.

They take tours to the Undara Lava Tubes, the Savannahlander Train and a cattle station.

The friendliest park we’ve stayed in and we’ve travelled right around Australia.”
