Our roving reporter Malcolm Mathieson from Lindenow South in Victoria likes Brownhill Creek Tourist Park in Mitcham Adelaide but has concerns about mobile telephone reception. He writes:
“This is a great park BUT if your are very reliant on mobile phone coverage and or mobile broadband it is a real problem here.
The coverage is very very poor as the park is secluded and in a valley. Great spot and very peaceful IF your not needing phone coverage.”
The park manager, Gavin Dyer writes:
“Telstra is OK. I am on 3 it is also OK because it roams to Telstra but in general certain pockets of the park have definite pockets of poor reception.”
