Patrick Kelly reviews High Country Holiday Park in Mansfield Victoria

Our roving reporter, Patrick Kelly, recently stayed in a cabin at the High Country Holiday Park in Mansfield Victoria and was impressed by the facilities and service of the park. He writes:

“We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin, $95 per night, very reasonable. Two separate bedrooms both containing a double bed. Also a futon couch in the lounge. En suite, reasonable water pressure, kitchenette with 2 burner cooker, microwave, full size fridge, all plates, appliances, utensils etc. Facilities include a rec room, unheated pool, BBQ (uncovered), small kiosk with ice, boom gate security entry. Lovely quiet, leafy park with a good mix of cabins, sites and a bunkhouse. Very close to town, 3 pubs, supermarket, Info Centre, milk bar and pizza shop all within short walking distance. The cabin was very clean and well equipped, we would happily stay here again.”

Stephanie Knight reviews Bridgewater-on-Loddon Public Caravan Park

Our roving reporter Stephanie Knight had these kinds things to say about The Bridgewater Public Caravan Park:

“The Bridgewater Public Caravan Park in Bridgewater-on-Loddon was fantastic. My husband and I and a few mates stayed here camping style with our own tent. It was very affordable and had very beautiful surroundings. We even got in a spot of fishing. Also the amenities were surprisingly clean and the two in charge of the caravan park were the loveliest of people.”

The Loddon River beside the park is a great place to fish.

Jammos reports on pet friendly Caravan Parks in Bunbury Western Australia

Our roving reporter Jammos sent us this report about pet friendly caravan parks in Bunbury Western Australia:

“Australind Tourist Park is the only Pet Friendly park in Bunbury WA. It is 10 minutes drive from the CBD and it’s right on the estuary with lovely views over the water. The facilities are basic but OK.

There is a much nicer park right in town called Koombana Bay Caravan Park only 5 minutes walk into town and right across the road from the bay. The park has full amenities including a pool, cafe, tennis courts etc.”
