The beaches (unpatrolled} suit surfing, fishing and swimming and the Esk River and Jerusalem Creek are popular for canoeing. There's car-based camping at Black Rocks (unsealed 2WD road or 4WD beach access from Shark Bay). Camping, caravan and cabin accommodation is available at Woody Head - see below. There are five picnic areas near lluka, including Nuka Bluff, which has a great whale-watching lookout and cultural heritage display in the picnic shelter.
Access 50 km south of Ballina, 60 km north of Grafton off the Pacific Highway on lluka Road. Vehicle entry fee applies.

showers get heavily worked during school holidays wear ''shower shoes'' as gets sandy and dirty also sand flies can be a problem if kids sensitive to bites . very busy[crowded] in holidays as national parks set their own park limits,well seems like it This campground gives easy access to Ten Mile Beach. You'll need to bring your own water and firewood.
Getting there: Turn into Gap Road off the Pacific Highway south of Woodburn and follow for 15 km.
Facilities: picnic tables, wood barbecues (bring your own firewood), gas/electric barbecues, non-flush toilets
Bookings: no bookings taken The campsite is accessible by all weather unsealed roads suitable for 2wd vehicle
South of Woodburn, turn off the Pacific Highway onto the Gap Road. The campsite is 15km along this road.
