Forrest setting beside mountain creek with great swimming. Administered by Forresty Dept. Bring potable water. Well sign posted on the Byfield Road. Sealed road till the Upper Stoney Creek turnoff on the western side. Bring your own fire wood as fire pits are on each campsite.
Small fee Campground features: Open-plan camp sites set among pine trees and natural bushland adjacent to Stony Creek. Swimming and walking opportunities.
Location: 11 km along the gravel road turn-off signed on Byfield Road.
Access: The campground can by reached by conventional vehicles. Check road conditions after poor weather as access may deteriorate.
Number of sites: 18 numbered sites.
Camp sites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car. Some sites are suitable for vans or camper trailers.

Facilities: Built-in fireplaces (bring your own clean, milled timber), picnic tables, toilets and water (treat before drinking). Automatic barbecues are provided in the day-use area only.
Open fires: Permitted only in fire places provided; bring your own clean, milled timber. Collecting wood in the State forest is prohibited. Fire bans may apply due to weather conditions.
Generators: Generators are permitted only between 8 am and 7 pm providing they have a sound rating of 65 decibels or less.
