There is a fee of $7.80 per person per night. There is no charge for children under ten years of age Cotter Campground is the most popular bushland camping area in the ACT. Nestled on the banks of the Cotter River amongst shady native and exotic trees, the campground is also adjacent to the Murrumbidgee River and located only 15 km from the western edge of Canberra.
Facilities: Separate areas for campers, vans, small private parties and organised groups (No onsite power or sullage available) Toilet, showers and wash up facilities Free Electric BBQ's and Wood BBQ's (limited firewood - ensure you bring your own supply) Pets not allowed. Maximum length of stay is two weeks. Fees apply. Fees can be paid to the Rangers, campground host, or left in the honesty box at the entrance. Bookings not required.
