Harry's camp and day use area has toilets, sheltered picnic areas, and rainwater which, to reiterate, must be treated before drinking. To make bookings for Harry's, ring (07) 5449 7364. Campground features: On the western bank of the upper Noosa River set among fringes of open forest and woodland (melaleuca, allocasuarina, bloodwood and eucalypt species). Some campsites provide shade.
Location: Approximately 11.5 km from Elanda Point via the upper Noosa River, or approximately 34 km from Boreen Point on mostly unsealed roads.
Access: The campground can be reached by walking, four-wheel-drive vehicle, boat or canoe. High-clearance four-wheel-drives are recommended along Harrys Hut Road, an unsealed sand track prone to flood damage. Number of sites: There are 10 defined vehicle access sites and 7 river access sites (maximum of six people per site). A group camping area is set aside for authorised groups.
Campsites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car (vehicle access sites only), walk-in camping (river access and group site), canoe/boat access camping (river access and group sites), and camper trailers (vehicle access sites only).
Campsite surface: Sand. Some vehicle access sites may have a woodchip base.
Facilities: Untreated water (treat before drinking), toilets, picnic tables and picnic shelter (in day-use area), jetty and canoe landing access points, park information.
Open fires: Prohibited.
