Wreck Rock - Middle Rock Campgrounds - Deepwater National Park QLD

Camping permits are required and fees apply. A tag with your booking number must be displayed at your campsite.
Wreck Rock campground
Campground features: Behind the foredunes, just a short walk to water and beach activities.
Location: At the south-eastern end of the park.
Access: The campground can be reached by conventional vehicle from Bundaberg. North of Wreck Rock the road is unformed and unsuitable for conventional vehicles or caravans—4WD is recommended.
Number of sites: 14 defined and numbered campsites. Maximum of 6 people per campsite.

Campsites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car and camper trailers.
Campsite surfaces: Sand and woodchip.
Facilities: Picnic tables, one cold outdoor shower, composting toilets (carefully follow instructions for appropriate toilet use), rainwater and bore-water. Boil or chemically treat all tap water before drinking or bring your own drinking water.
Open fires: Prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators: Not allowed.
Essentials to bring: Drinking water, rubbish bags (no bins are provided), insect repellent and a fuel or gas stove. Read more about Things to know before you go.
Bookings: Book online or by phone. Advance bookings required for holiday periods.
Mobile phone coverage: Generally not available.
Middle Rock campground
Campground features: Bush camping behind the foredunes, just a short walk to water and beach activities.
Location: At the north-eastern side of the park.
Access: The campground can be reached only by 4WD. It is not accessible for trailers, caravans or buses.
Number of sites: Small open area without separately defined sites.
Campsites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car and small groups.
Campsite surfaces: Sand and woodchip.
Facilities: None.
Open fires: Prohibited. Fuel stoves are recommended.
Generators: Not allowed.
