Big Crystal Creek Campground - Paluma Range National Park QLD

Location: the camping area is located four kilometres from the park entrance along the unsealed Spiegelhauer Road.
Access: the camping area can be reached by conventional vehicles. It is accessible to trailers and small caravans. Large caravans and buses are not recommended because it is a relatively small area with a narrow access road through the camping area.
Number of sites: open area without separately defined sites.
Campsites are suitable for: tent camping beside your car, walk-in camping, caravans, camper trailers and small motor homes.
Campsite surface: sand, dirt or grass.
Facilities: water (treat all water before drinking), flushing toilets, cold showers, picnic tables and gas barbecues.
Open fires: prohibited.
Generators: not allowed.
Essentials to bring: rubbish bags and insect repellent. Read more about things to know before you go.
Bookings: book online, over-the-counter or by phone. Advance bookings are advisable, especially during school holidays, when the camping area is extremely popular.
Mobile phone coverage: poor, until you get back to the highway, six kilometres from the camping area.
