Access the gorge through Tully township. A 40-minute scenic drive follows the gorge to the Kareeya Hydroelectric Station. The wettest place in Queensland contains Tully Gorge in the rugged Alcock State Forest. The Tully River is renowned for white water rafting. The forest is the main exit point for commercial rafting tours. Alcock State Forest is in the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. Campground features: A large, open, grassy campground with shady trees.
