Tin Mines Campground - Woomargama National Park NSW

Norths Lookout on the Tin Mine Trail provides extensive views over the Riverina.TheTin Mines picnic and camping area {suitable for backpack and vehicle based camping) is a stopping point on the Hume and Hovell Walking Track.
Access 25 km south-east of Holbrook, 40 km west of Tumbarumba. 4WD access (no 2WD) when dry, and no access when wet. The campground is a clear grassy area adjacent to Tin Mines Trail. The site has basic camping facilities and is suitable for 4WD vehicle based camping or self reliant backpackers. It's located along the Hume and Hovell walking track which extends from Yass to Albury.

Natural setting: grassy woodlands
Cultural heritage: This area was once a tin mining extraction site and was also used by graziers during the early to mid 1900s.
Facilities: wood barbecues, drinking water, picnic tables, non-flush toilets
Toilets: Sealed pit toilet.
Water supply: There is a 1000 litre water tank next to the single shelter and the semi-permanent Basin Creek runs through the site. It is recommended that all drinking water be boiled for at least 5-10 minutes.
