Sandon River Campground - Yuraygir National Park NSW

Cultural heritage: Permanent European settlement commenced in 1914 by fisherman and oystergrowers. The dwellings are now largely occupied by families for summer holidays in this beautiful location.
Getting there: Follow Sandon Road in from Brooms Head Road.
Facilities: picnic tables, wood barbecues, gas/electric barbecues, non-flush toilets, flush toilets, amenities block, drinking water, public phone The campsite is accessible by all weather unsealed roads suitable for 2wd vehicles
509.2 km NNE of Sydney
Drive down Brooms Head Road from the Pacific Hwy. Turn left at Sandon Road and follow this to the end.
You can park a caravan, trailer, or a tent in this campground
There are a total of 40 campsites
There is a boat ramp on the headland, at this popular spot for fishing.
