Leesa Cee of Melbourne reviews Rivergum Holiday Retreat in Corowa NSW

Our roving reporter Leese Cee of Melbourne sent in this report on Rivergum Holiday Retreat at Corowa NSW:

“Stayed here during Easter 2010 and found the park to cater for all needs and levels of caravanning and camping.

The caravan park is very big, more so the the ‘out the back’ camping area along the Murray that is roughly about 32 acres.

We camped with our camper trailer and found a spot by the river without being too close to our neighbours. Portaloos are set up and campers use the amenity blocks in caravan park. For those who love their skiing, boats have their own ramp access in the park.

The park itself is well maintained and the owners are very friendly and helpful.

One of the best things about the park was the key in and out security gate which enabled campers like ourselves to feel assured that our sites were safe.

Bird life is aplenty in the park and the park also has a bush circuit walking track to keep you fit.
A lovely caravan park that I would return to in future.”
